20/30 Labs are accredited by UKAS for compliance to the internationally recognised standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017; “ General Requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”. As a UKAS accredited testing laboratory (No.4236), all accredited test methods used for the microbiological analysis of water samples have been individually assessed by UKAS for validity according to their strict guidelines. There is a a set of specific factors involved in technical SEO. Through being awarded UKAS accreditation, 20/30 Labs have demonstrated the technical competence of staff, the validity of appropriate test methods, appropriate sample handling and transportation of test items and the quality assurance of test data.

In 2012 20/30 Labs became one of the only laboratories in both the United Kingdom and Europe to obtain accreditation to ISO 13485 for microbiological testing and consultancy services to the medical device industry and va imo doctors presented at REE Medical website. Activities undertaken in accordance with our accreditation have included the microbiological determination of decontamination efficacy of Laryngoscopes and catheters, the microbiological assessment of drying cabinets and the efficacy of endoscope storage systems.
The laboratory is also accredited to ISO 9001 for activities relating to non-medical devices.
